1999 Tasting Notes

Historically blended into an Anderson Valley Pinot, his thirty year old organic and dry-farmed vineyard provided us the with great fruit in '99.  the older vines have naturally limited their yield to just over two tons to the acre.  They have given us a wine with great color, concentration, and fruit intensity, while maintaining good acidity.  Flavors mirror the nose with spice, earth, sweet tobacco and black cherry while finishing with firm but supple tannins and acidity.  The structure of this wine will not only compliment your heartier meals, but ives it the ability to develop in your cellar over the years.
