The Hein vineyard is located a few miles west of Philo and is yet again another great vineyard source for us.  Gently sloped, the vineyard still maintains our hillside prerequisite and the south/southwest orientation provides great exposure for this cooler area to fully ripen the fruit.  This vineyard consists of a mixture of Dijon, 667, 777, 115 and Pommard Pinot Noir clones.  the small clusters and low yields (2 tons/acre) yield intensely colored and flavored Pinot.  We farm this vineyard organically.
