2006 Tasting Notes

Sweet effusive aromas of face powder, dark red fruits wet stone, and light fennel pollen. Medium palate of sweet crème de cerise, more minerals and subtle savage nuances. Tannins are almost perfect on this wine subtly drying yet balanced, with sweet rhubarb and wet stone. The finish is pure and lingering with black tea, dried rose petal and talc like tannins. While appealing to drink now, this wine should rest comfortably in your cellar for 10-15 years and may be a 20 year wine.
