2006 Tasting Notes Dried pine needles, and herbal notes accent the griotte aromas, which are fresh and lively on the nose. Wet stone and laced cherry fruit with chalky nuances emerge on the palate. Mouth watering tannin and acidity beg for short term cellaring, decanting or some food. Ash and sour cherry flavors are bright and focused on the finish. This wine should bring great enjoyment now with food, but will gain in complexity over the next 8-12 years in your cellar. |
