2005 Tasting Notes

The 2005 Roussanne is fleshier and fuller bodied than the 2004 version. The underlying minerality of the site does shine through and keeps the wine focused and interesting. Flavors and aromas of lemon curd, chalk, and subtle toasty nuances are full yet kept in check by the underlying wet stone, mineral, and lemon zest flavors. The wine finishes with a long waxy yet refreshing finish typical of this varietal.
