Roussanne by nature tends to be a round, supple, low acid wine and our 2004 is not of that ilk.  Grown in the limestone high 8.2 pH soil of James Berry, the wine is clean, fresh and vibrant but stink speaks of Roussanne with the faintest waxy/oily texture you get from the varietal.  You should really give this wine a try if you haven’t given up on California white Rhone wines.
