2004 Tasting Notes

Blackberry, nicoise olives, bacon fat, gunflint, and flower aromas exude from the glass of this full-bodied Syrah. The olive characteristic carries to the palate along with roasted meat, cassis and blackberry notes. Decidedly old world in style with its 13.9% alcohol yet powerful enough for those who like aromatic and full flavored syrahs. Our best yet from this site, it should hold up nicely with cellaring for the next 5-8 years.
