2003 Tasting Notes Gunflint, sweet dark fruits, nicoise olives, and dried herbs are present on the nose. Fresh leather, meat, pepper and blue and black fruits emerge on the pallet. The flavors are full, long and persistent on the finish where good acidity keeps everything balanced. Short term cellaring for a year should help marry all the flavors and tannins together and drink well for the next several years. |
