2005 Tasting Notes

The wine boasts a vibrant deep purple color.  Pepper, nicoise olives, black fruits and chalky aromatics leap from the glass.  Beautifully textured flavors mirror the nose and meld nicely on the palate.  The weight of the wine is certainly reminiscent of the Northern Rhone yet still delivers a multilayered expression.  The finish is long and smooth with great acidity keeping the wine fresh and lively in the mouth.
