2006 Tasting Notes

This Southern Rhone inspired wine has sweet floral grenache aromas and flavors of framboise along with tar, earth and pepper. The clean pure flavors are smooth and supple on the palate and gain great length with a few hours of air. The field blend and syrah were fermented with 50% whole clusters and add great spicy nuances to the wine while the Grenache gives it a great purity of fruit. Short term cellaring of 3-5 years will really let this wine sing.
