Coming from volcanic soiled vineyards in Lake County, Madder Lake is certainly one of our valued oriented wines in our portfolio and we feel it delivers more than the price suggests.  While our second label syrah, L’Hiver, is comparable to a Cote to Rhone, the Madder Lake is more structured and nuanced and is our Croze Hermitage-like syrah.
