2005 McDowell Tasting Notes

The wine possesses an expressive nose of gunflint, wet smoke, black fruit and nicoise olives.  Pure rich flavors are long with dark chocolate, minerals, dried black and red fruit and garrigue nuances that fold into long mouth filling finish.  Surely good now but another year in bottle and it should drink well for the next several years.
