2005 Tasting Notes

The 2005 Thompson offers a dense purple color as well as beautiful aromas of chocolate, ground pepper, blackberries, flowers, and road tar. Flavors mirror the aromas and are intense yet impressively well-balanced. Firm but supple tannins and good acidity keeps the wine balanced on the lingering finish.
