Background

After graduating from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations, Jennifer Derrick moved to Aspen, Colorado where her passion for food and wine ignited.   Working in several high-end resorts, Jennifer felt she acquired all the knowledge she could, packed her bags and moved to Los Angeles to work as the West Coast Events and Public Relations Coordinator for GUESS? Jeans.

The amazing opportunity to help construct Les Mars Hotel brought Jennifer to Sonoma County in 2001.  Realizing the potential of the area, Jennifer furthered her hospitality career, as well as her epicurean and wine education, by working with Gloria Ferrer Champagne Caves, Madrona Manor, Cyrus Restaurant and Williams Selyem Winery.  Jennifer is also co-founder of Sans Souci, an Events & Estate Management Company based in Healdsburg.

Jennifer came to find Copain Wine Cellars as a neutral balance for all her talents and is excited to be a member of their dynamic, growing team.
