2010 Brosseau Syrah

The 2010 Brosseau Syrah melds bright blue and red fruits, crushed rock, and
delicate floral notes all backed by the delightful minerality that is characteristic
of this vineyard planted in limestone and granite. Typical of our 2010 Single
Vineyard Syrahs, the aromatics are particularly vibrant and the wine can just
as easily be enjoyed today, as 10 years from now.

Vintage Notes:

2010 began with a delayed bud break, followed by an unseasonably chilly
vintage which facilitated slow ripening of the fruit. Despite a weeklong heat
spike, our vineyards escaped damage due to our canopy management
practice of limited leaf removal. Harvest began in late September, and in
certain vineyards, continued until early November. Our 2010 wines show
pretty aromatics, supple tannins and sound acidity
