2014 Brosseau Syrah

Winemaker’s Notes:  This is our tenth bottling of this powerful, mountain top wine. Planted in decomposed granite and limestone, the yin and yang of acidic and basic type soils, combine for a unique expression of syrah. Concentrated black fruit flavors are focused and pure, picking up nuances of graphite and india ink on the finish. This powerful wine,

while approachable with decanting, or with aeration in glass, requires 5-6 years of aging in your cellar and

should hit its stride in 10 years.

Fermentation/Barrel Aging:  100% Neutral French Oak, 100% Malolactic
