Zayante Vineyard Chardonnay

This Chardonnay is flat out stunning from the first swirl. On the nose, hints of cheese Danish, fresh green pea shoots and on the palate. It's lively with a perfect, light richness with flavors of underripe pear and white pepper. It’s clean with layers and layers reminiscent of great Chablis. This wine spent six months in French oak barrels and then switched to stainless steel for the last month 12 months of elevage. Pair this with fresh scallops, grilled fava beans, or spring pea risotto.
