Sourced from mulitple vineyard locations in the Anderson Valley, this wine has aromas of lemon and a crisp acidity.

Vintage Notes:

2017 was predominantly a cool vintage with a warmer than usual finish. This, however, did not affect the quality of the Chardonnay, as much of harvest was completed before the heat wave. Grapes that remained on the vine throughout the heat spike were pushed slightly beyond our normal ripeness, which gave the wines intense fruit character. Blending was important in 2017 to maintain balance and style, but some of the riper lots were fun to pepper in at the blending table.

Vineyard Notes:

Sourced from multiple vineyard locations, the Ferrington Vineyard, which comprises the majority of the fruit, incorporates separate lots crafted from the Robert Young and Wente clones.

Wine Profile:

Aromas: Honeysuckle, cream, green apple, nectarine

Palate: Medium weight palate. Ripe pear and wet sandstone, as well as chalky and savory notes that play well with the vibrant fruit character.
