The SeaLift Vineyard is located in Annapolis, four miles from the Pacific Ocean. This wine is brooding with dark fruit flavors as well as cacao and dark chocolate.

Vintage Notes:

2019 was a mild growing season with a small moderate heat push toward the end of the growing season. That warmth really pushed fruit into a beautiful ripeness at the end, without pushing things too far. We can look forward to generous fruit in the wines along with great balance.

Vineyard Notes:

The SeaLift vineyard is planted in what the locals term the “true Sonoma Coast”, north of the Fort Ross/Seaview AVA and just to the south of the Mendocino County border. Its proximity to the Pacific Ocean provides a long, cool growing season each year. Planted at 1,200 feet above sea level, the SeaLift Pinot Noir vines are planted at the fog line and are on a southwest facing aspect, giving the grapes exposure to the later, warmer sun. The loam topsoil provides excellent drainage to ensure we get concentrated fruit come harvest.

Wine Profile:

Aromas: Ripe cherry, blackberry, fennel

Palate: Red plums, cherry, pomegranate
