Sits at 1200 feet elevation in Annapolis. Notes of green apple, lemon, chalk, and white peach.

Vintage Notes:

2020 without a doubt will go down as one of the most storied vintages of all time. While navigating a global pandemic, many of the wine regions of the West Coast were devastated by the wildfires that threatened or destroyed the grape harvest. We were fortunate to have a harvest that was high quality and undamaged. If you take away the struggles, 2020 was a near perfect growing season.

Vineyard Notes:

Perched atop the ridges along the Pacific Coast near Stewarts Point near Annapolis, Tidal Break sits 1200 feet above sea level just along the fog line. Just under 5 miles from the Pacific Ocean, this vineyard benefits from the cool breezes of the Pacific Ocean. Mild sunny days with cold nights inspires slow incremental ripening that gives us long hangtime without ever getting too ripe.

Wine Profile:

Aromas: Green apple, lemon, kumquat, wet stone
Palate: White peach, honey fig, lemon bar, chalk; nervy and exuberant
Pairing: Lavash with lemon verbena cashew spread (vegan); roasted chicken
