2020 without a doubt will go down as one of the most storied vintages of all time. While navigating a
global pandemic, many of the wine regions of the West Coast were devastated by the wildfires that
threatened or destroyed the grape harvest. We were fortunate to have a harvest that was high quality
and undamaged. If you take away the struggles, 2020 was a near perfect growing season.

The Sonoma Coast is one of the most stunning places on earth, and we are privileged that we get to
farm grapes there. Within this large appellation, our preferred area is what is often referred to as the
True Sonoma Coast (west), a more specific area that focuses on the ridges along the pacific Coast from
the Sonoma/Mendocino County border down to Bodega Bay. Our estate vineyards Sealift and Tidal
Break are planted here and they each benefit from the soil, elevation, and proximity to the Pacific Ocean.
These characteristics define the terroir for growing world class Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Syrah.
Aromas: light plum, clove, black cherry
Palate: A darker fruit profile than usual from the West Sonoma Coast. In place of pomegranate and raspberry, we have flavors of mushroom, soy, and earth, and as the wine opens up, we taste black cherry, wild strawberries and ripe plum. Plush mouthfeel with and an exotic twist.
